Using a special car wash, you can quickly and easily remove the paintwork (including putty and primer) from the outside of the body. However, note that in the process of working with automotive "chemistry" it is imperative to use standard protective equipment - these are rubber gloves, respirators and goggles.

The main stages of work

First of all, you need to lay a plastic film under the machine, so that later it is easier to collect paint residues. Next, you need to remove the metal elements that may interfere with the work, and then you can proceed directly to the removal of the car paintwork.
There are two ways to do this. The best is to use a spray gun. In this case, a wash to remove old paint works 100%, and the process itself is moving very quickly. Additionally, the surface of the body must be heated with a construction hairdryer.

You can also remove the paintwork of the car by applying a wash with a brush. However, in this case, this process will take a little longer. And in some places where the paint has not come off, you will have to re-apply the wash. But this, so to speak, is a fallback - it’s better to use nebulizers anyway.

You can remove the paintwork from the surface of the car body with a hard brush and spatulas. In general, old paint is removed quite easily, without any effort. For a detailed process of removing paintwork from a car using a wash, see the video on our website.
