The original bar counter, made by yourself from old wooden pallets, will be an excellent decorative decoration of the interior of a country cottage or a small country house. The manufacturing process of such a design is not particularly costly, so everyone can make a simple bar counter.

For the manufacture of the original bar, you will need several bars of 50x50 mm, as well as an edged inch board. You can, of course, use plywood 24 mm thick, but it will look too easy.

Therefore, it is better to choose boards with at least some pattern on the surface. Old wooden pallets are quite suitable for this. First of all, from the boards we knock down two small shields, and then we connect them with the bars. The result is racks for installing countertops on them.

The main stages of work

We prepare the required number of boards and “drive” through the thicknesser so that they are the same size. Then we put together a large shield - this will be the wall for the bar counter. Moreover, note that the boards themselves do not need to be glued together (you can simply nail it with nails).

We cut two shelves from a 20 mm thick plywood sheet: one is attached at the bottom, the second in the middle. Also from the scraps of the board we make an additional top shelf. The countertop for the bar and upper shelf can also be made of plywood.

At the last stage of work, we ground and paint wooden elements. See the video on our website for the step-by-step process of assembling and manufacturing the original bar counter from wooden pallets for the home.
