So you will need:
- - packaging of puff pastry,
- - 3-4 medium-sized apples, better sweet and sour varieties,
- - 1 egg
- - 2 tablespoons of sugar,
- - a roller for slicing the dough with a net (optional).
Put the dough out of the freezer, wait until it unfreezes and becomes room temperature. Then roll it slightly with your own movements. Too zealous is not worth it, otherwise puffs will not turn out magnificent.
Cut two rectangles of approximately the same size. On one of them, go with a roller to cut the dough with a grid, retreating slightly from the edge. If the roller is not at hand, you can not do this. However, it is better to buy such an assistant in the kitchen, with it you can bake a lot of delicious and beautiful pastries. Now there are many such rollers on sale. The easiest option is plastic, with a working surface of 7-10 cm. It will be quite enough for cooking puffs. Cut the remaining dough in the same way.
Wash the apples, peel them from the skin and cut into small pieces. It is best to take sweet and sour varieties, then the puffs are obtained with sourness. Add sugar and mix.
Put the filling on the prepared piece of dough.
Top with the piece on which you walked with a roller. And pinch the edges.
Lay on a baking sheet covered with parchment.
Beat the egg with a whisk and grease them with puffs. Bake at 180 degrees for approximately 20 minutes. As soon as they are browned, remove and place on a plate. After that, you can feast on.
