Christmas toys with a surprise

There is very little time left for everyone to celebrate their favorite holiday - the New Year. Soon the annual bustle will begin, the search for gifts for loved ones, souvenirs for colleagues, friends, relatives. Christmas fairs selling Christmas toys will begin their work.
But New Year's decorations can not only be bought, they can be made with your own hands, using imagination and investing a piece of your soul.
For example, you can make Christmas tree decorations yourself with a surprise from a walnut shell. There is nothing complicated in their manufacture, so you can attract children to work. They will surely enjoy the process, and then admiring these decorations hanging on the Christmas tree will be pleasant.
So, in addition to walnuts for work, we need the following:
- Acrylic paints for decorative and applied work, preferably with a shine;
- brush;
- colored paper;
- scissors;
- universal glue;
- colored ribbons or braid.
First of all, open the nuts and clean them from the contents. Thoroughly painting the shell with the acrylics on the outside and inside, leave it to dry completely. Top nuts can be sprinkled with sparkles.
While our blanks are drying, print out congratulations on colored paper. It is better to choose universal wishes suitable for both men and women. We cut the paper with curly scissors, leaving one wish on each strip.
We fold the paper with congratulations and put them in halves of nuts. You can also put inside a candy or something else of your choice.
Having tied knots of colored braid, we get loops for our jewelry. We halve the walnut along the slice for gluing.
Gently inserting a bundle between the halves of the nut, leaving a loop on the outside, glue our nut. We repeat this procedure until all the nuts are ready.
Decorations are ready, they can be hung on a Christmas tree. When the New Year arrives, all participants in the holiday should go to the Christmas tree, remove the nut you like, open it and read your wishes prepared. Your guests will surely be pleasantly surprised.
