With the help of a homemade cultivator, you can loosen the beds at the dacha, as well as remove the roots of plants. You can make it from improvised materials.
For the manufacture of the cultivator, four pieces of reinforcement approximately 37-38 cm long will be required. On an improvised pipe bender, the author gives the bars a semicircular shape.
"Ponytails" in the blanks must be cut off with a grinder. Thus, the length will be reduced, it will be already about 30 cm. The edges of the bars must be sharpened.
The main stages of work
The author welds the resulting blanks to a 40x40 mm metal plate. And for this, a homemade conductor is used, which facilitates the task.
On a plate with "tentacles" you need to weld a piece of steel inch pipe into which a piece of a three-quarter pipe will be inserted.
Five inch holes with a diameter of 10 mm must be drilled in an inch pipe. In a segment of a three-quarter pipe, it is necessary to drill one hole with a diameter of 10.5 mm.
At the next stage, we proceed to the assembly of the cultivator. Everything is simple: we insert a three-quarter pipe into an inch pipe and fix it with a bolt.
After that, it remains only to weld the handle to the three-quarter pipe. You can use a piece of steel pipe for this, having previously bent it.
