Decor pipes inside the apartment

How often do we access the Internet to get an idea for the creativity or decor of our home? I think quite often, but these ideas do not always suit us. Here I faced such a problem. In my house, or rather on the veranda, there are two exhaust pipes from the neighbors below and all of them, as they say, "were eyes on me." Creative people will understand me. Climbing the Internet, unfortunately I did not find anything. But more recently, I became interested in decoupage technique. After a little thought, I decided to create something masterpiece with my own hands.
And here the Internet helped me out. I found a beautiful picture in black and white (my printer is black and white) and printed in a poster format (4x4). And then set to decor. But all in order.
And so for work I needed such materials and tools:
- picture (as described above),
- PVA glue,
- acrylic lacquer,
- scissors
- brushes
Non-tack paper "nulevka".
First you need to paint the pipe in white, but I already had it painted, so I started immediately gluing. Cut out the picture.
On the reverse side, generously coat with glue and let it brew (principle of gluing paper wallpaper).
When the paper is wet, but not before deoxidation, here you need to clearly withstand the time (about 2-3 minutes), put it on the pipe and smooth it gently.
Again, we coat with PVA glue again. We glue the next leaf, picking up the picture, using the same technique.
After gluing, let dry for at least 6 hours.
Then we cover with the first layer of acrylic varnish.
After 4 hours, carefully, so as not to damage the pattern, we grind with sandpaper "null".
Then with a cloth we remove the dust and plaque and again cover with a layer of acrylic varnish. We let it dry and admire our work - not ordinary and unique.
As you can see, I also decorated the shoe rack and the mezzanine door. An uncontrollable fantasy flight has already begun here. So do not restrain yourself, and you will get a unique element of decor. You will surely succeed. Good luck
