In fact, it is only necessary to make a table on which it will be necessary to fix the belt sander. For this, the author uses ordinary plywood. You will also need two wooden blocks.

Grinding machine manufacturing process
First, in one of the pieces of plywood, you will need to drill three holes for the bolts. Previously, the author makes the markup on the workpiece using a paper template. Threaded bushings must be pressed into the holes.
At the next stage, the author makes the basis for the grinding machine. He screwed a piece of plywood to two wooden blocks with the help of self-tapping screws.
Then a second piece of plywood with threaded sleeves is screwed to these bars (but on the other side), on which a belt sander will be fixed.
In the end, it remains only to establish a work table for the convenience of processing workpieces. The machine itself turned out to be quite compact and light.
It can be fixed to the table with bolts or self-tapping screws, or you can simply fix it with clamps.
