Solar concentrator that melts metal at home

The hub is based on an aluminum satellite dish, onto which a thin mirror film is glued for outdoor advertising. To repeat the concave shape of the base, the film was cut into pieces in the shape of a hexagon of the largest possible size, at which the mirror surface does not deform.

The result was a concave mirror of large diameter, which with its concentrated beam can melt metal. In fact, the use of such structures can be simpler, if you take a smaller concentrator, it can be used to boil water without the use of electricity.
