If you are actively using a smartphone on the street, in public transport or on vacation outside the city, then make yourself a homemade portable charger that allows you to always stay in touch. For the manufacture of this homemade product you will need affordable and cheap components - 250 mA solar panels, which can be ordered on the Internet (on the same Aliexpress).

Making such a compact charge is very simple - you do not have to solder any "tricky" circuits, just connect the panels to each other and solder a standard USB connector to connect a smartphone. In total, four solar panels will be needed, which in total will generate a current of 1000 mA and a power of 5V.

How to make a folding solar panel

Four solar panels are connected in series with each other, and then attached to a strip of denim 33x11 cm with hot melt adhesive. Velcro must be glued at the edges of the strip. Thus, a folding solar panel was obtained, which does not take up much space in a bag or backpack.

To connect the solar panels, you can use the wires from the USB cable. We solder the standard USB connector to the edges of the wires, and isolate the places of their twisting with a conventional electrical tape or heat-shrink tube. To prevent the connector from hanging out, fix it with hot-melt adhesive.
