This home-made fixture is useful in the process of welding round pipes - with its help you can quickly and reliably fix two workpieces close to each other, and also rotate them as necessary.
Of the basic materials, two segments of a motorcycle chain, two metal rods and a corner 35x35 mm 22 cm long (more can be) will be required. To connect the main structural elements, we will use electrode welding.
We prepare all the necessary parts and tools, after which you can proceed to assemble the device. If the corner is rusty, then before welding it is advisable to clean the surface with a grinding wheel.
The main stages of work
First, we determine the attachment points, make markings and weld two pieces of the motorcycle chain. Then on the same side you need to weld pieces of metal rods or studs of a suitable diameter (you can also use bolts).
We clean the welding spots and the fixture is ready for work. In the "bed" of the corner we lay two pieces of the pipe, fix with chains and you can cook the seam.
