Sliding doors are very popular today - it is cheap, practical and beautiful. In addition, they are very simple to make on their own.
First of all, you need to saw the workpiece of the desired length from the board or plywood. Then they will need to be trimmed. The author uses a circular saw and a miter saw for this.
Next, from the sawn wooden slats, you need to glue the frame with jumpers. The shape of the frame is rectangular. Dimensions - the width and height of the doorway.
The main stages of work
To cover the frame, the author uses translucent paper (you can also use other materials - for example, it can be PVC plastic).
The paper is glued to the wooden frame using PVA or wallpaper glue. And on top for greater reliability, straps are attached. They can be nailed with decorative cloves or simply glued to carpentry glue.
At the next stage, the rollers will need to be screwed to the upper part of the door leaf. First you need to do the markup.
Then it remains only to attach the guide to the wall and install the door leaf with paper or plastic sheathing. There is nothing complicated here - everyone can handle it.
