We will need a milling cutter, a jigsaw, a screwdriver and a grinder.
The chair itself will be 12 mm plywood. This is enough to make the product durable, while remaining light.
The main stages of work
The first step is to print or draw a stencil. Circle the bear on plywood and cut the blank. Sand the edges immediately with sandpaper or grind with a grinder.
Then, in the same way, make the second bear. To make the parts completely identical, fasten them with self-tapping screws in future joints and work with a copy milling machine on the edges.
After the screws can be removed. Chamfer with sandpaper or a mill. Next, cut out the seat, back and lower partition. With a pencil, mark their location on the bears.
Now cut the holes so that the parts fit tightly into them. It is best to gently hit them with a mallet.
Now drill holes in the attachment points and grind the entire surface of the plywood with a grinder. Groove the grooves with wood glue.
After that, you can assemble our chair and fasten it with screws. Hide the attachment points with dowels. Tighten the entire structure with clamps.
Grind the product, completely degrease the surface and now you can cover it with a primer.
Glossy acrylic enamel is suitable for painting (it is important that it is allowed for children's furniture).
Let the paint dry and the chair is ready. Such a cute and unusual piece of furniture will surely appeal to your children.
