After rolling (reinforcing) the profile pipe, it is often necessary to flatten the ends of the workpiece.

Of course, this can be done with a conventional hammer, but you will not succeed in achieving the perfect result. And it takes more time.

To flatten the ends of the profile pipe after rolling, you can use a homemade device.

Make it very simple. You will need a steel plate, a round log and a pair of bolts.

The main stages of work

2 washers with a thickness of 20 mm must be cut from a round log with a diameter of 50 mm.

At the next stage, we mark and drill holes in the workpieces with a diameter of 12 mm: in one washer - in the center, in the other - from the side (offset from the center).

Next, cut off two rectangular plates from a piece of metal with a thickness of 8 mm.

Holes must also be drilled in them so that previously manufactured washers can be secured using rod segments or bolts with a diameter of 12 mm.

A handle must be welded to the eccentric washer. In this case, this is a piece of metal round pipe.

After that, we collect the device and scald the ends of the fixing bolts. Homemade is ready!
