Sometimes there is not enough free space in the workshop, which causes certain inconvenience in the process of work.

However, in some situations, the turntable may solve this problem. You can make it with your own hands from metal.

As a countertop, the author uses a sheet of metal 2 mm thick (sheet dimensions - 100 * 100 cm). To the bottom of the countertop, you need to weld profile pipes 25 * 40 mm.

In the center of the countertop, the author welds a "leg" from a pipe with a diameter of 76 mm with a wall thickness of 4 mm (length - 55 cm). In addition, four jaws must be welded.

The main stages of work

At the next stage, the author cuts a piece of pipe with a diameter of 80 mm with a wall thickness of 4 mm (length - 35 cm).

It is necessary to make a longitudinal cut in it, at the edges of which the master welds “ears” - metal plates with holes.

Next, you need to cut a piece of pipe with a diameter of 27 mm with a wall thickness of 3 mm (length - 380 mm). The author welds a stud with a diameter of 20 mm to a pipe with a diameter of 21.5 mm.

We insert a hairpin with a handle into the pipe and fasten everything to a pipe with a diameter of 80 mm. You also need to weld a nut into which the stud is screwed.

From the reinforcement with a diameter of 12 mm, the author makes a helm - it needs to be welded to the handle.

A similar design will need to be made of a pipe with a diameter of 75 mm with a wall thickness of 6 mm (length - 270 mm), studs with a diameter of 16 mm and a piece of pipe with a diameter of 16.5 mm.

From the pieces of reinforcement, the master makes a knob and welds it to the handle.

At the last stage, it remains only to weld two pieces of pipe with a diameter of 76 mm and a wall thickness of 4 mm at an angle of 90 degrees. Then you can start assembling and installing the table.
