In this review, we will tell you about another design of a homemade bending machine. This time - from the brake disc and wheel bearing.
The first thing to do with a grinder is to clean the disc from rust.
After that, we weld the wheel bearing in the center of the brake disc. First you will need to chamfer. We clean the welds with a grinder.
The main stages of work
At the next stage, cut a piece of metal strip with a thickness of about 8-10 mm, and drill two holes in it.
At the end of the strip we weld two pieces of metal. We insert bolts into the holes, fix them with nuts, and then scald.
To the other end of the strip, the author welds a third bolt and a piece of round bar, which will be used as a handle.
We put bushings from a metal pipe on the bolts, put washers on top and scald.
At the last stage, it remains only to weld the handle to the bearing. The author welds two plates to the brake disc. Then we drill the mounting holes, and you can proceed with the assembly and subsequent installation.
