Vests are now the trend of the season. And you can be sure that they will not give up their positions quickly. Very convenient and versatile this thing. Those who are still not very sophisticated in the practice of knitting, no doubt can be taken for the manufacture of such a wardrobe, not being afraid that the thing will remain untied. There are a lot of models of vests, and among them there are definitely original ones.
Take crochet patterns, for example. Surely many will be interested in an unusual model - a weightless mesh knit vest, which can be literally knitted from 170 grams of yarn, that is, from the leftovers when you were able to buy the last pair of skeins in the store or you still have threads from previous projects. For our vest, depending on the size, from 120 to 180 grams of yarn may be needed, it is very economical and at the same time practical from the point of view of using leftover thread.

So, we use gentle acrylic from the Semenov factory of the Karolina brand, 438 m per 100 g. Recommended size of the knitting hook: N2 - N3, in our case, hook No. 4 was used, which did not prevent the knitting in the loops from looking loose. The airiness of a thing is determined by the pattern. A little bit about knitting threads: this brand of yarn consists of 100% acrylic, the thread is quite thin, but voluminous, has a silky smooth texture and the same silky unobtrusive shine. The saturated turquoise color of the yarn in our case is selected in accordance with the tunic on which the vest can be worn to see its pattern in harmony with the mesh knitting of the latter.
In addition to the fact that a small amount of yarn is used for the vest, he also has a rather simple pattern. The entire vest is knitted in one piece, which allows you to speed up the work and quickly see the finished result.
One more tip: when working with acrylic yarn of this plan, expect that the finished thing will stretch, i.e. increase in size. With tight knitting, the increase is mainly in length, with mesh knitting, as in our case, not only in length, but also in width. If you use a hook half a size larger, then this gives a slight increase in the dimensions of the finished product. Based on this, it is worth estimating the measurements and the amount of yarn. For a vest of small sizes, one skein of thread of 100 grams can be enough!
The highlight of this vest is enclosed in a pattern design. Simple enough, but at the same time original, it, like all crochet patterns, requires careful attention.
The pattern is shown in the figure.

The number of loops should be a multiple of 9 + 3 loops per climb when moving to the next row. The thing is knitted in one piece with recesses on the armhole, the finished product has only shoulder seams.
Measurements for the product: the width of the product is the circumference of the hips, the length of the product is along the back from the collar zone, the width of the back is the distance along the back from one shoulder seam to the other.
We start knitting from a chain of air loops, the length of which corresponds to the total length of the product. Pattern report: * 3 vp, 3 tbsp. with a crochet, 3 vp, 3 tbsp. with a crochet, 3 vp, 3 tbsp. with a crochet, 9 vp *

In the opposite direction, you can knit in symmetry, this is how the model is made of turquoise yarn, or by shifting the report to get a diagonal pattern. In this way, the model is made in the photo from the magazine (see photo).
Knitting order: shelf, back, shelf.

For an armhole, close 1 row 1 report shorter; 2 row at * 3 c.p., 3 tbsp. double crochet * shorter; 3, 4, row repeat 2 row; 5 row add * 3 c.p., 3 tbsp. with a crochet, 6, 7 row repeat 5 row; 8 add completely 1 rapport. If the armhole is not so deep, you can reduce the reduction of rows.

Having finished knitting the second shelf, we proceed to tying the product, we carry out two rows of double crochet columns in each loop of the previous row in a circle of the entire part. Then we sew the product along the shoulder seams.

And we carry out two more rows of similar strapping along the bottom of the product, shelves and collar. The armholes can be optionally not tied, but the circular strapping of the entire product will help the vest to keep in shape.

Next, we knit three thin ribbons from the same yarn of arbitrary length, they should be small. Using these ribbons, we fix the corners of the shelves in the form of a turn-down collar. And we use the third ribbon as a tie to connect the shelves at the level of the chest or waist.

At this work on the manufacture of a vest - mesh is over.
