To create such a bird is very simple, because for sewing you can take any old jeans. It is better to embroider with special threads (mouline thread), but iris, lurex or fine silk are also suitable.
We preliminary draw the details on paper, cut them out and transfer them to the fabric.
Important! Paired components (wings and parts of the body) should be drawn in a mirror projection.
Then we sew each side part of the torso with a wide lower insertion with a basting seam.
Now that the base is tightly fixed, we sew the entire outline of the product with the main thread with the reverse stitch.
We twist the body (through the slot near the tail) and stuff it with padding polyester.
After that, the bird is completely stitched with a buttonhole seam along the edge, starting from the hole.
It's time to start finishing. The first step in the decoration will be embroidery of the side net. To do this, draw oblique lines with a blue ballpoint pen. Just on denim (also under embroidery) these lines will not be as noticeable as, say, red lines.
We embroider all the outlines with an even stitch, so it will take a little time and energy.
We decorate the bird’s chest in rows of red flowers, which we divide by dashed lines.
The wings also have their own distinctive pattern and color scheme. We also apply it with even stitches.
In order for the wings to have a neat appearance also inside, stick colored paper on the wrong side. It is better not to use fabric here, because a double layer of jeans will make the wings very heavy.
The wings should also be glued to the body with polymer glue.
The beak can be made from any fabric of a suitable color (in this case, burgundy dermatin), which again is better to attach with glue.
Now we put the finished bird on a skewer, having previously made a small puncture from the bottom.
And now our bird of happiness is ready. In green spaces, it looks very attractive and expressive.
