According to the Chinese calendar, the sheep is considered the symbol of the coming year. The animal is beautiful, good-natured and fluffy. They say that the coming year should go well and have fun, be happy and generous, you need a figure of the symbol of the year at home. And for this it is completely optional to run to the store in search of spending a lot of money on a Chinese trinket of dubious quality. It is better to make a fun lamb from improvised materials on your own. You can also present such a beautiful craft to your friends, colleagues or relatives. A soulful gift made just by yourself will be an ideal souvenir for your school friends and friends of your children. What do you need to prepare for work?
Take:
- white cardboard (for two lambs you need half a sheet of A4);
- packaging of white napkins (20 pieces);
- PVA glue;
- scissors;
- a simple pencil;
- threads for knitting black;
- hook;
- magnets.

From white cardboard cut two ovals of the same size. They should be no more than 8 cm high.

From a white paper napkin, start twisting small balls (approximately 5 mm). This is easy enough to do. Tear off a small piece of napkin and roll it with your fingers into a ball.

They need to be done so that they can completely fill the oval blank. About 5 napkins are needed.

Apply glue to the oval (generously) and start sticking small circles from a napkin. They should fit snugly to the surface and to each other.

As soon as the entire oval blank is filled (make sure there are no empty spaces on the cardboard), press the balls with your hands and let the glue dry.

At this time, take the black knitting thread and hook. You need to connect four chains (15 loops). Do not forget to trim the sticking strings.

Then tie the oval using the single crochet pattern. About 4 cm in size.
And on one end of all chains, glue the balls from napkins (10 mm in size).

Turn the blank with the balls from the napkins on the back side and lay out the chains with paper balls at the ends. Place two on the top - these will be the “handles”, and the other two - on the bottom, you get the “legs”.

Lubricate the loose oval with a generous layer of glue and attach it to the first workpiece. Press down the work with something heavy and leave to dry.

On the reverse side you can also stick a magnet, then your craft is easy to "make friends" with the refrigerator door. Just pick up such a magnet so that it can withstand the craft. Too small will slip off.

Now you need to glue the head of the sheep on the top of the oval. PVA glue will perfectly cope with this task. Make sure that it looks proportionate to the body.

Make eyes from napkins, beads, or other similar materials. Mouth - from a thread or a red napkin.

Using the same principle, make a second sheep. It will be a fun couple - a boy and a girl. Make her a small bow of thread, and tie him. Although, of course, you can decorate the figures at your discretion.

As soon as everything dries and sticks together well, the figures-symbols of the coming year can be placed on the refrigerator and wait for the gala night.
