A convenient fixture for bodywork can be made practically from improvised materials with your own hands. The basis of the reverse hammer is a metal cylinder, the usual dumbbell, after some modifications, may take its place.

The tube or steel bar along which the load moves should be smooth, so if it is possible it is better to make it from a rod or stainless steel. The handle can be an old handle from an angle grinder.

Of all the parts that you have to purchase, if you do not find something similar in the garage, there will be a hook and its mount. The result is a tool that at first glance is indistinguishable from the factory, but with the same functionality.
