Due to frequent use, the beautician becomes unusable, a woman has to buy a new one. But buying it is not necessary at all. If you know the basics of crocheting, you can become the owner of a pretty "Watermelon Slice". Needlewomen will appreciate the easy-to-make cosmetic bag, knitted from the remains of yarn. A beautiful cosmetic bag will be a convenient addition to a women's handbag. Do-it-yourself watermelon slice can be presented to a friend or mother. To tie such a cosmetic bag you do not need special skills, it fits easily and quickly. You will need several hours to make it, as well as the remains of red, green, pink and black yarn, a needle with a wide eye, a No. 3 hook and a zipper (preferably green in tone with the yarn).

We start knitting with a red thread with an air loop. From the resulting loop, we crochet 4 air loops and close the knitting in a circle. Next, we knit in a circle 6 sc (column without crochet). During knitting, you need to monitor the tension of the thread so that the circle turns out to be smooth and beautiful. After the first row is knitted, continue knitting as follows: add 6 loops evenly in each row. Increases are made by knitting two loops in one loop of the previous row. In total, you should get 13 rows connected by a red thread (as many as possible). At the end, cut and fasten the red thread. If desired, the size of the cosmetic bag can be increased or decreased by linking a small or vice versa a large circle.

When the base of the future red cosmetic bag will be tied. It is necessary to knit 1 row with a pink thread. If you do not have pink, you can take a white or yellow thread. Knit in the same way with increments of 6 loops in each row. At the end, cut the pink thread and secure it from the wrong side.

The last step of knitting is to knit rows of green. Now you have to knit 3 rows, also adding 6 loops in each row. When knitting is finished, you need to cut the thread and fasten. Flatten the finished blank under the cosmetic bag and lightly iron.

Now we take the black thread, we thread it into a needle with a wide eye and embroider stitches in the form of watermelon seeds. If desired, the seeds can be embroidered with black beads.

Next, proceed to the assembly of cosmetic bags in the form of a watermelon slice. The resulting circle is bent in half and sewn on top of the zipper. If the zipper is longer than it should be, it can be cut off and the edge fixed with a seam. In my version, the zipper is not long, I sewn up the free edges with a green thread. You can sew in a zipper manually or on a sewing machine. When the zipper is sewn, it remains to turn the makeup bag on the front side, straighten it and fill with makeup so that it takes the desired shape. If desired, you can sew a lining for a cosmetic bag, then it will last you longer and will look more aesthetically pleasing.
