Each of us has repeatedly had to leave our house for a long time. We have summer cottages, friends in other cities, a desire to go abroad or to some resort sanatorium. Even a banal camping trip with tents requires us to leave all our household unattended. We can always take our beloved pets with us, but indoor plants ... Not every one of us decides to transport all our domestic flora with us over considerable distances. Typically, such trips take place in the summer, when plants are especially in need of moisture. Some flower lovers, upon returning home, are faced with an unpleasant phenomenon when their beautiful flowers are dried up after a long absence of the host. The answer here is obvious - until now you still did not know a way to maintain the soil of your houseplants in the proper humidity of the earth.
First you need a water tank, the volume of the vessel should depend on the number of days of your absence and the individual characteristics of the water consumption of the particular plant served. That is, if you leave for two or three days and your plant is a flower of average whimsicality in terms of moisture consumption, then a small bottle will be more than enough.

And, accordingly, if you leave for two weeks or more, and plus to everything, your plant really likes to drink, here you will need a bottle of a much larger volume. You need to accurately calculate the amount of liquid in exactly the same volume as if you were at home and watered the flower in its usual rhythm. Just in case, prepare water with a supply.

Now take an ordinary lace, it can be partly synthetic, but if it consists mainly of natural fibers - it will be good.

You can use fabric tape or a soft rope for these purposes, here you can choose from what you have. Now you need two weighting materials.

It can be anything: dowels, screws, screws, bolts, nuts, the main thing is that they are not very large, but at the same time somewhat weighty. Next, fix the weighting materials at both ends of the lace.

Moisten one end well.

Pull it out of the water and now soak the rest of the lace in the bottle.

The entire lace should be perfectly soaked. Now go to your houseplant, put it on the floor.

Place the vessel with water nearby, on a raised platform - relative to the flower, for example, on a chair, as shown in the photograph.

We will make a reservation right away that it is not necessary to place the flower exactly on the floor, the main thing is that the vessel with water is at a level higher than the surface of the soil of the plant, the principle of communicating vessels works here. Water, like a stream, looks for a lowland and finds it in a pot with a plant. This should be well understood by you. Now we fix one end of the lace in the soil.

The other end of the lace rests at the bottom of the vessel with water. The system is ready and functioning at 100%.
