How a welder from Bali made himself a mechanical arm

The Balinese master from the welding workshop suffered a stroke, which paralyzed his left hand. Sumardana developed a bionic scrap metal limb to continue to work and feed a large family. The bionic lever operates using signals from electrodes connected to the scalp of Sumardana. The welder managed to create it using the knowledge gained while studying at a vocational school, as well as on the Internet.

Although this invention has no scientific support, it has made the welder a local celebrity and is now known as the Iron Man.
