Presenting a second life to the instrument is a pleasant pastime for every homemaker, especially if it is associated with any modifications. Our patient today is an old double-edged ax with a broken handle.

The ax came in a fairly acceptable condition, so from restoration operations it was necessary to clean it with a grinder, first with a hard brush, then with a grinding wheel. The brush removed traces of corrosion, due to which the grinding wheel did not become clogged with rust, but calmly cleaned the sink from the metal surface.

For the new hatchet, it was decided to use a chain with welded links. To implement this idea, you need to stretch a piece of the chain in different directions as much as possible and boil it by electric welding.

Add brutality to the craft a more current chain wound on an ax and a welded hook at its end. Welding work is ready and the final touch of painting, after which you need to try a new unusual tool.
