It would seem, well, what can be done from the old window frame, which is more than 100 years old? Many, most likely, would use it for firewood or other household needs. However, having shown a little imagination and using improvised materials, you can make a comfortable coffee table from this "rare" product.

Manufacturing process

First of all, the window frame needs to be disassembled, all nails removed and the surface well sanded. At the next stage of work, it will be necessary to manufacture new fastening joints - wooden dowels of suitable length and diameter. Next, we assemble the window frame back, be sure to use carpentry glue and fasteners.
After the base of the coffee table is ready, you can begin to make legs. Moreover, it is desirable to make them not straight, but slightly truncated in the lower part. The resulting blanks are ground and coated with stain.

Next, it will be necessary to use a milling cutter to make a recess along the entire inner perimeter of the frame under a glass tabletop. Then you need to also make four "landing nests" under the legs of the table and put them on carpentry glue.

The last stage of work

Additionally, you will need to make a drawer, which will be located at the bottom of the coffee table. When everything is ready, the surface of the entire structure is varnished. So from the old window frame you can make your own "home" work of carpentry.

Such a coffee table with a glass top will look harmoniously in any interior, especially in rooms that are decorated in a rustic style. See the video for a detailed manufacturing process.
