This homemade work is useful to everyone involved in welding work. Using this device, which is simple in terms of design, which can be made of available materials, it is very convenient to weld steel pipes of different diameters.
Of the basic materials for its manufacture, you will need: a corner piece, a piece of pipe, two nuts, as well as four studs and four pieces of square bar of different sizes (that is, long and short).
Welding fixture: work steps
From a steel corner we cut a piece about 5-6 cm long. If necessary, we clean the surface with a grinder. You will also need a piece of pipe 3-4 cm long, which is cut lengthwise into two halves.
We install a steel corner on the rib and weld to the halves of the pipe, which will ensure the stability of the entire structure. Two L-shaped parts must be welded from pieces of a square bar, and two T-shaped pieces from studs.
The nuts must be welded to the ends of the L-shaped parts (the studs will then be screwed into them). After that, all structural elements are welded together. Using a grinder, we clean the surface of the finished product well.
How to use this device
We put two pieces of pipe of different diameters into the “groove” of the corner, press them tightly with the studs, after which you can start welding work.
