With this simple home-made tool you can quickly remove weeds and grass that grow between the seams of paving slabs. Also, such a hand tool is useful when you need to remove debris that has clogged in the cracks of the wooden floor in the house and on the street or between terrace boards.
For the manufacture of this homemade product simple and affordable materials will be required: two wheels from roller skates, a plastic handle from a mop with length adjustment, a piece of a metal water pipe, a steel bar with a diameter of 6-8 mm, as well as studs with a washer and nuts.
The main stages of work
One edge of the steel bar is ground onto a cone and then bent into a hook. Two small holes need to be drilled in a pipe segment, after which a stud is welded to it and a hook is attached (to the bottom). Then, two nuts are screwed onto the stud right next to the pipe.
The surface of the resulting part must be cleaned with a grinding wheel and painted with spray paint from a spray can. Wheels from roller skates are put on a hairpin and fixed with washers and nuts. The handle from the mop is inserted into the pipe and screwed with two screws (you can get by with one).
