Using a home-made table saw, you can cut boards and bars into blanks of the right size - it's cheaper than buying finished lumber. Well, since factory models are expensive, it will be easier to make a power-saw bench with your own hands from a conventional chain saw.

The design of such a device is light in weight and compact in size, which allows you to easily place a table sawmill in a home workshop. For this homemade product you will need simple and affordable materials that can be easily found in any workshop or garage.

The process of manufacturing a sawmill from an electric saw

First of all, from two sections of the profile pipe, it will be necessary to make special parts with cutouts for the chain, which are attached to the chain saw bar using a bolted connection. Next, you need to fix this design on your desktop.

In this case, it is a sheet of chipboard or plywood. We drill four holes for studs with a length of 140 mm. Then the studs are screwed to the base. Nuts are screwed on them (to the desired height level), and then an electric saw is installed. After that, the profile pipes attached to the tire are pressed with nuts and washers.

Before starting work, the horizontalness and parallelism of the set dimensions are checked, after which the finished structure with a working table must be rigidly fixed to the workbench using clamps or in any other way. For convenience, it is advisable to connect the chain saw to the pedal to urgently de-energize the device if necessary.
