If a detachable machine is needed for work, but there is no money to buy a factory model, then make a homemade device based on a grinder with a 125th circle for home use. To make a simplified budget model of a cutting machine, you need a minimum of materials.
The main stages of work
As fasteners, segments of a steel strip of 25 mm will be used, in which you need to drill holes for the threads on the grinder gear housing. First, measure the distance from the threaded hole to the edge of the gearbox. Then, two pieces 60 mm long must be cut from the strip.
From the edge of each of the plates we measure 4 cm and drill a hole with a diameter of 8 mm, and then install the resulting fastenings on the angle grinder housing. Further, from the profile pipe 20x20 mm, it is necessary to cut a small piece that will connect the "ears", after which you can begin to manufacture the hinge system.
To do this, use a jet sleeve from the Lada and an M12 bolt. First, a landing "nest" in a profile 40X20 mm is cut out under the sleeve, then two holes are drilled on the sides of the pipe and all this is fastened with a bolt. If you simply weld the sleeve to the profile, then there is a chance of play.
Site fabrication
At the last stage, it is necessary to make platforms for a cutting machine from a sheet of metal, to which the hinge system is attached. On the guide profile, you need to make a selection for the sleeve, after which we grab it by welding. Remove the protective cover to expose the grinder at a right angle to the working surface.
After that, a section of the corner is attached to the site, which will set the direction of the cut of the workpiece. The result is the simplest and most cost-effective version of the cutting machine from a grinder for home use. The detailed assembly process can be seen in the video on the site.
