It is not very convenient to carry doors, plywood sheets, drywall or large window units alone. And it’s not safe, since in this case there is a high probability of getting injured (at least you can stretch your back muscles).

If there is no partner nearby, you can use a makeshift trolley, with which it will be much more convenient and easier to move dimensional objects from place to place. You can make such a device from inexpensive available materials.

The main stages of work

For the manufacture of this homemade product you will need eight small bearings, a small piece of an I-beam, three metal plates, as well as a stud and a bar of rectangular cross section. A grinder is required for cutting blanks, and welding is required for joining.

One plate is welded to the base of the I-beam, and the remaining two are attached on the sides to form walls. Instead of an I-beam, you can take two corners that are welded together.

Mini Trolley Assembly

At the edges of the soles of the I-beams, two studs must be welded. A metal strip of rectangular cross section must be bent with the letter "G" with a tail, and then welded to the side plate. We grind and paint the resulting mini-cart case.

We put two bearings on the ends of the studs and press them with a nut. The result is a compact, lightweight and convenient mini trolley for transporting doors, window blocks, countertops or sheet materials. In a private house and in the country, such a homemade handy.
