This can be done in an elementary way - clamp a glass cutter in a bench vice, press a bottle against it and rotate it clockwise until a groove of the required depth is made. As a result, the cut should be smooth and accurate.
The main stages of work
At the next stage, you will need an ordinary rope rope, inside which you need to "hide" an electric cord with a bulb holder.
Then you need to pass the rope with the wire through the neck of the bottle. Next, you need to screw the plug to the cord. Everything should be well hidden between the “fibers” of the rope, so that the aesthetics are preserved.
