If you have an old bicycle wheel, as well as cuts of a polypropylene pipe, then from these materials you can make an original lamp with a wooden stand for a garage or a home workshop.
Such a lamp is not only convenient to use, as it can easily be turned in the right direction, but also practical. On the stand you can place pencils, screwdrivers and other useful and necessary accessories for work.
First of all, it is necessary to cut off a small piece from the old bicycle wheel, and then strip it with a metal brush for angle grinders to remove traces of rust.
The main stages of work
In the next step, a piece of the wheel rim will need to be secured to bolts with nuts. But before that, you need to drill holes in the polypropylene pipe and the piece of the bicycle wheel itself. If necessary, you can use a building hair dryer to make it easier to shape the pipe.
Next, the master cuts out a stand for the lamp from the board (a workpiece 50 cm long). After the workpiece is ground, you need to drill 5-7 blind holes in it for polypropylene pipes.
At the last stage, the master lays a wire inside the pipe, and attaches a cartridge to the end so that a light bulb can be installed. Then the final assembly is performed.
