The manufacturing process of homemade wing screws is very simple - even a novice home master will cope with this task without problems. It is desirable to have a drilling machine, but, in principle, you can get by with an electric drill.
First of all, on a piece of paper, you need to draw a circle with a compass, and divide it into eight parts. Next, the master cuts out a paper template that sticks it on a pre-prepared piece of plywood.
The main stages of work
Then, in the center of the plywood, it will be necessary to make a recess under the head of the bolt, and around the entire circumference on the drilling machine, drill eight more holes of the same diameter. In the recess in the center, you also need to drill a hole for the diameter of the bolt.
At the next stage, with the help of a crown, the lamb itself is drilled in the form of a gear. The master processes the resulting part on a grinding machine. You will also need another detail in the form of a circle, in the center of which you need to drill a hole along the diameter of the bolt.
