In the process of repair work, you may need a very different tool. You don’t stuff everything in your pockets, so it’s advisable to have a carry on hand. You can make it yourself.
Of the basic materials you will need a small piece of board and a piece of genuine leather. Rivets will also be needed to attach the chopped flaps of leather to the wooden frame.
First of all, it will be necessary to cut a piece of the board into two parts, one of which must be cut in half.
All three workpieces need to be sanded, and the edges rounded or simply processed with sandpaper so that there are no sharp corners.
The main stages of work
In two short blanks, you will need to select the grooves: in the lower part - the entire width, and in the upper - only along the edges, so that you can fix the wooden planks.
Next, we make markings, drill holes and fasten two short planks to a long one (base). Then it will be necessary to screw on two screws for self-tapping screws or screws.
At the last stage, it remains only to sheathe the frame with pieces of leather and make pockets (for example, for pencils and screwdrivers).
Wood can be painted with stain. Handles should also be made of leather. The homemade product is ready - you can use it.
