In this review, the author decided to make an original "masterpiece" for the house - a stool from spare parts from Moskvich. In this case, a set of connecting rods from the engine is used. The height of the stool is 50 cm.

It should be noted right away that such a stool is hardly suitable for a kitchen - heavy, but it is suitable for a corridor. In a garage or workshop, it will also look original.

If there is a welding machine, it will not be difficult to make such a stool. The lower parts of the connecting rods need to be welded in pairs, and then welded to a small section of pipe with a diameter of 34 mm.

The main stages of work

Pieces of the profile pipe should be welded to the top of the connecting rods. At the ends of the pipes, the author makes plugs from pieces of metal. Next, you will need to drill holes for mounting the seat.

In the profile pipes, which are located at the bottom of the stool, you need to drill one through hole, and also cut the M5 thread into them so that the legs can be fixed.

Inside the profile pipe (at the edges), the author welds a 6 mm thick plate so that the threaded connection is reliable.

At the next stage, it is necessary to assemble the metal frame of the stool, and then paint it. The author attaches the legs to the bottom.

Then it remains only to make a seat for a stool, and screw it to the frame for self-tapping screws.
