With this tool, workpieces can be sawed not only directly (that is, at a right angle), but also at an angle of 45 degrees.
Homemade vise made of wood. It is advisable to use hardwood: oak, hornbeam or others. Although, if there is absolutely nothing, plywood will do.
First of all, we saw off the necessary workpieces - this is the base of the vise, clamping jaws (movable and fixed), as well as the supporting part with a hole for the screw.
The main stages of work
The author decided to make the foundation not solid, but to glue it from several elements - in the middle of the foundation it turns out a void.
At the next stage, the author drills holes in the movable sponge and the supporting part - under the screw. After that, you can already proceed to the assembly.
In the end, it remains to make and put a wooden handle on the screw, as well as cover the wooden structural elements with mineral oil.
