In this review, the author shows how to make a simple and at the same time - an original curtain-blinds on a window with your own hands.
Of the basic materials you will need: PP pipes with plugs, bicycle sprocket, bicycle chain, two pieces of profile pipe.
First of all, you need to grind the sprocket and bicycle chain. Then we put them in a metal container and fill them with solvent.
After cleaning, the sprocket and chain must be painted with spray paint. Leave until dry.
The main stages of work
The next step will require two couplings and plugs for them. We connect the parts together (you need a welding iron for polypropylene). It turned out stubs on the ledge.
Next, cut off the ring from the sleeve, put it on a piece of polypropylene pipe (cornice) and fix it with hot glue.
We put on an asterisk, then we fasten the caps. You will also need another piece of pipe, at the ends of which the author also installs plugs. Connection method - soldering.
After that, we attach the curtain itself made of an opaque white fabric to the cornice.
We install a cornice above the window, and into the lower part of the canvas we insert a polypropylene pipe, which acts as a tensioner.
