To chamfer plastic sewer pipes, the author decided to make the easiest chamfer for PVC pipes.

To make it, you will need a plastic clamp with fastening, two nuts and a washer of a suitable size.

A chamfer is made for a specific pipe diameter - in this case, for a pipe with a diameter of 50 mm.

Of the tools for work, you will need a grinder or a hand saw for metal and an electric drill (drilling machine).

The main stages of work

The first step is to cut the metal washer into two parts. We drill a hole for a screw in one of the halves.

Then the author shapes the workpiece with a comma and files it sharpenes on the side that will bevel the pipe.

Well, then everything is very simple: we install a cutting element between the "ears" of the plastic clamp (the author puts two nuts on the sides of the knife).

Homemade beveller is ready. We put it on the PVC pipe, finger press the cutting knife to the edge and, rotating the pipe itself, remove the chamfer.

Details on how to make the simplest chamfer for PVC pipes with your own hands can be seen in the video.
