A sealed metal pallet can be useful in the household for different purposes.

If there is no way to buy it, then you can do it yourself, and the size you need. The author uses 0.35 mm thick sheet as a material.

First of all, we determine the size of the future tray and cut off a suitable piece of tin.

Further, the author makes the markup: 3 cm back from the edge - these will be the sides of the pallet. We cut corners with metal scissors so that the edges of the sides can be joined together.

The main stages of work

At the next stage, on a bending machine, we bend the edges (sides) of the future pallet - we make a flanging.

Recommended reading:

  • We make a bending machine with our own hands.
  • Plate bending machine from channel and building corner.

The formed corners need to be “punched” in the middle with a chisel or screwdriver so that it is easier to bend them later.

At the last stage, it remains only to make the sides and bend the corners. Since the metal is thin, in this case, you can do with simple pliers and hands.
