As a starting material, it is better to use not plastic bottles, but denser plastic - for example, containers for household chemicals or waste seals.
To work, you need a baking sheet or tray, an electric stove (preferably an oven) and a mold.
The master made the form from MDF, but for a long time it is missing, and therefore it is best to make it from wood or plywood. You can still weld it from metal.
The main stages of work
First of all, the plastic will need to be crushed with scissors. Then put it on a baking sheet (in this case, in the tray).
Please note that the author uses parchment paper for baking, but it is better to do without it. The fact is that molten plastic sticks to it and tearing it off is quite problematic.
Plastic lags far behind metal or aluminum baking sheets than parchment.
When the plastic has completely melted, shift it into a mold. We cover the hot mass with a plank from above, and then we fix it with clamps.
When the workpiece cools down, it remains only to process it and give it the correct geometric shape.
