In this review, the author shows how to make an aluminum doorbell with your own hands. A mechanical bell is not only practical, but also beautiful.
The first step is to saw eight boards of the right size from boards or plywood. You will also need wooden battens.
Then, from planks and battens, the author collects two parts of the formwork, which will be joined together.

The main stages of work
On a flat base, install the lower part of the formwork and fill it with sand, tamping it well.
The author uses part of a glass goblet without a leg as a mold for casting a doorbell.
Then we install the second part of the formwork and fill everything with sand. Do not forget to leave a hole for the gate.
We melt the required amount of aluminum in the crucible, after which we pour liquid metal into the gate.
At the next stage, we disassemble the formwork and remove the cast aluminum part from it.
After that, it remains only to install the tongue inside the bell and make the fastening so that the mechanical doorbell can be hung at the desired height.
