Picking mushrooms in the forest is not only purely utilitarian, but also emotional. Therefore, so many people go mushrooming, or at least dream about it. But it is no less interesting and useful to grow these plants, or semi-living creatures in their own land or even in the house on the windowsill. This is especially important for the townspeople.

Preparatory stage

In the beginning, you still need to visit the forest and try to find a couple of ripe ceps there, the spores of which will serve to propagate these plants at home.

We must try to ensure that the mushrooms found are not wormy, healthy and with a good brown hat, because it is in them that the seeds are - mushroom spores, and in large quantities.

Mushrooms collected in the forest, we break houses with our hands and pass through an ordinary manual meat grinder, excluding the legs, because they do not have spores. You can also crush mushroom caps with a kitchen knife.

Pour out the mass from the meat grinder with natural water (river, well or rain better) with the addition of food yeast.

Pour the obtained mushroom crumble, diluted with natural water, into a spacious dish (a five-liter plastic container with a cut off top is suitable). If it was not possible to find natural water, then you can use tap water, having previously kept it in an open container for at least one day.
Add to the contents of the plastic container 50 grams of yeast used for baking, in crushed form.

Dilute still with water to increase the mass of contents in the container.

We thoroughly mix the whole mix obtained with a wooden spoon, first in one direction, then in the other, and cover with a cloth or towel so that nothing gets into the container, and the gases formed in it freely exit from it.

Then we put the container with all the contents covered with a napkin in a warm and dark place for one and a half to two weeks, so that it passes all the necessary activation processes, and the dispute awakens.

After the specified time has elapsed, mix the contents of the container again and fill one cup of the mixture in a two-liter bottle with rainwater and shake it thoroughly.

Now we spill pots with flowers and, above all, lilies with a solution of awakened spores, since it is believed that they contribute to the growth of mushrooms. Pour the soil in pots abundantly. Now it remains to wait a few months until spores germinate and sprouts of porcini mushrooms appear.

Mushroom picking on the windowsill and analysis of the results

Let's see what the results are. Fungi appeared under the oak and palm, although the palm itself is in a sleepy state. But under the lily - not a single mushroom sprout, but the plant itself went powerfully into growth.

Mushrooms can be removed after they appear from the ground after about 6 days, when they grow up to at least 10-12 cm.
The fact that it is time to pick mushrooms is signaled by the edges of the hats turning to the top. The experiment showed that under the oak the mushrooms are larger than under the palm. Probably native soil is more favorable for them.

In the process of growing in pots on the windowsill, mushrooms also require a certain and regular care. It is necessary to periodically loosen the earth, tear out weeds and water the plants.
