How to simply lock a hand power tool

There is a great need to fix the grinder in a stationary state. Say, sharpen the drill if there is no stationary emery on hand. I will show how to make an incredibly simple stand on which it will be possible to fix not only the grinder, but also other tools, such as a drill, dremel, building hair dryer, etc.

Making a stand for a power tool

We cut a rectangular piece of chipboard larger than your tool.

One such plate will not be enough, since it is too light, so we will cut another one. Apply on top and draw a marker on the contour.

We saw it with a hacksaw or a jigsaw.

Fasten with screws on four sides, pre-drilling holes.

Turn bolts down so that they do not spoil the view.

We apply a grinder in the middle, which must be fixedly fixed.

And mark the places for future fixtures.

We will need two more of these clamps. Pipes are fixed with such, they are full in construction stores of absolutely any diameter.

We drill a hole for plastic dowels.

We insert them into the holes with a hammer.

Screw the screw struts.

Screw the clamps.

Set the grinder in place.

We fix with clamps, tightening the fasteners.

Rubber gaskets will not create excessive force on the tool body and will not allow it to move anywhere. Now you can work.

If necessary, turn to the side. Very comfortably.

And sharpen everything you want: at least knives, at least drills.

You can fix and dremel.

We fix the building hair dryer.

All examples are on the face. The stand is very simple and very comfortable. With a slight vibration, it will not roll over.
Also, before work, it is necessary to clamp the trigger or the tool switch with a plastic clamp or in another way. When working with the tool in this position, be extremely vigilant. I recommend making a foot pedal button so that when you press on it with your foot, the tool turns on.
