To make a Christmas tree from sisal, you will need the following materials:
1. Sisal green and beige (on a Christmas tree 28 cm high and a base diameter of 10 cm two meters sisal 50 cm wide),
2. A ball of twine,
3. Cardboard
4. Scissors,
5. PVA glue,
6. Cardboard
7. Decorative jewelry (beads, garlands, balls, sparkles, etc.),
8. Candy
9. Stapler,
10. Corrugated paper,
11. Gloves.
First, make a cone out of cardboard, fix it with a stapler or glue. It is not necessary to make a wide base of the cone, since such a Christmas tree is almost doubled in width due to the balls. Gently wrap the cardboard cone with twine. You should start from the top of the cone, securing the tail of the twine with glue. Further, the glue can be applied along the generatrix of the cone and continue to wrap, a lot of glue to pour is not necessary. At the end, the twine tail can be secured with a stapler in several places for reliability. Twine is needed not only to strengthen the cone, it will also make a beautiful base. If somewhere between the sisal balls a cone wrapped in twine shines through, it will be beautiful.
The next step is hiding a candy surprise in a cone. Pour the sweets into the cone and fix the bottom with green corrugated paper using a stapler. We carefully cut off the excess. The paper is thick and strong, will hold securely. It's okay if the edges are a little sloppy. This is all covered with sisal balls.
Leaving the cone to dry, let us begin rolling the sisal balls. It is better to roll gloved balls, as the material is scratchy. We roll balls of approximately the same size, dense. Dense balls look neater and stick better. Once the balls are ready, glue them to the cone. We start from bottom to top in order. You can stick randomly, or you can come up with some kind of pattern and follow it. Glue one ball to the top to make it look like a Christmas tree.
After the Christmas tree is glued with sisal balls, we proceed to decorate. We wrap the Christmas tree with red beads and in a chaotic manner glue the pearl beads (large white and small beige).
