Holders for curtains "Pearl of the interior"

When I had to hang the curtains, the question arose about how to assemble and decorate them beautifully. It turned out that the store has no suitable options. Everything was either not in color, or in style it corresponded to the general idea. In the needlework department, a milk-colored ribbon caught my eye, which was ideally suited to the color of wallpaper and curtains. Quickly managed to pick up and original beads for decoration. There is one difficulty left. The fact is that the idea arose to make magnets for curtains. Consequently, it was magnets that were needed. So you can’t buy them. After a day of thought, it occurred to me to get magnets from old furniture. They help keep doors closed. Removing them turned out to be quite simple. A hammer and a strong male hand made it possible to get them in seconds. To make holders for curtains, you should take the following materials:
- 1 meter matte dense tape;
- 20-25 large beads;
- a thread;
- glue; - thin satin ribbon (4 meters);
- scissors; - 4-8 strong magnets;
- 4 mugs of cardboard.
Magnets for curtains are made as follows:
1. Magnets are glued onto cardboard mugs. 2 pieces can be glued
2. A ribbon is carefully wound on top of each circle. She will hide the magnets, create a decorative volume and the basis for further manipulations.
3. Beads are sewn onto two mugs decorated with ribbons
4. The tape is cut. One strip should be about 40-50 cm (depending on the volume of the curtain). A thick matte ribbon is sewn to two circles so that on one side it is hidden behind. It should be remembered that the holders should turn out in a mirror projection.
5. On the other hand, a bow is made of a thick ribbon. It will be right above the magnet.
6. It should be checked that the magnets are attracted, not repelled (this happens if they are placed incorrectly in relation to each other).
7. Holders for curtains are ready! It remains to iron, hang and decorate the curtains for the living room.
