How to make the picture have an interesting texture? You can apply textured plaster on the base, but then the image must be covered with an additional layer of varnish. It is better to create a light relief using eggshells. This natural material is easily fixed with ordinary PVA glue, it is well painted and looks original.
Today you will learn how to make a simple picture with a textured base.
For work you need to prepare:
- a sheet of thick cardboard (preferably from a packing box);
- eggshell (dried);
- tube with PVA glue;
- a napkin with a bright pattern (three-ball);
- scissors;
- a frame of wood.

First cut the cardboard to fit the size of the frame.
Spread the upper corner of the base with PVA glue and start gluing pieces of eggshell.

Make sure that the pieces lay at small intervals and the base of the picture is visible.
Glue is best applied not on the entire surface, but in parts, gradually gluing the shell.

This is how the base of the picture looks, completely filled with pieces.

Now take a napkin with an image, choose a picture to fit the base.

Cut the desired part and separate the topmost (color) layer of the napkin.
Spread the base of the painting with PVA glue, on top of the shell, and glue the color fragment.

It remains only to attach the base to the frame.
The picture is ready!

If you look closely, it has an original texture, which looks very original.

Even a child of primary school age can cope with such work.
