Leather bracelet

Recently, accessories made of rough, rather brutal materials have come into female fashion. Most often, the raw material for their manufacture is leather or leatherette.
To make my bracelet, I used the following materials:
• a small segment of leatherette;
• cardboard;
• scissors;
• Super glue;
• needle with thread;
• beads;
• acrylic paint.
To start, I made cardboard blanks - a stencil for future details of the bracelet. To do this, simply draw a sketch of each part on paper and stick it on cardboard, so that each stencil is more durable and does not leave during the stroke. As soon as the glue dried up, I cut out the resulting details.

The next step is to repeat the appearance of all the details, but only from leatherette. In my hand, one detail “a” and “b”, as well as 7 parts “c”.

Since the color of the skin I used was not bright enough, I decided to make a couple of colorful spots, and painted the back side with blue acrylic paint.

It is better to do this on a surface covered with something that is not needed.

The result is such a bold combination.

Now you can start creating the fastener. I chose a regular Velcro.

As a fixer, I chose superglue, since there are almost no traces of it. Please note that Velcro is glued to different sides of parts a and b.

While the glue dries, we will ease our task and will make small holes exactly in the center of all the details in. It will come in handy when decorating a future bracelet.

This is how the reverse side of all the details now looks.

We begin the assembly of the accessory. Details "a" and "b" are applied to each other on the wrong side.

Now, into the resulting “window” we thread one of the parts “into” and fold it in half with the wrong side inward to get the next “window”.

In this “Makar” we attach all the remaining links.

We glue the edges of the last part “in” for convenience. This is how the bracelet will close. (Photo16) But its almost finished look.

Getting to decorating. To do this, in the hole of the first link “in”, we fix the bundle of thread so that the needle looks deep into the bracelet.

We collect one bead on the needle and thread it through the hole of the second of the same link.

Beads decorate the entire bracelet in the same way. I decided to leave loose windows on the cuts so that the brush in this jewelry would feel calm and nothing would interfere with the hand when bent.

As a result, I got such an interesting decoration.
